By creating an account or using MySuperResume, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. MySuperResume and these terms
MySuperResume provides online tools for creating, uploading, editing, tailoring, evaluating, storing, and exporting resumes, CVs, cover letters, and related application materials. The service may also provide job-description matching, writing assistance, interview preparation, templates, and other career resources.
MySuperResume is a ResumeGenCV product. Both services are developed and managed by the same independent developer, and MySuperResume is not a separate company. “MySuperResume,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean that independent developer and the MySuperResume.com website and application. “You” means the person or organization accessing or using the service. These terms apply to our websites, applications, features, content, and paid services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 and legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization, you must have it before using the service.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- You may not share, sell, transfer, or misuse an account or access another person’s account without permission.
- Tell us promptly at support@resumegencv.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your documents and content
You retain ownership of resumes, CVs, cover letters, job descriptions, profile information, photos, and other content you submit or create (“User Content”). You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, process, format, and display User Content only as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service and to follow your instructions.
You represent that:
- you own User Content or have the rights and permissions needed to use it;
- User Content and your use of it do not violate law, confidentiality duties, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or another person’s rights; and
- the information you provide is not intentionally false, deceptive, unlawful, or harmful.
You are responsible for reviewing documents before downloading, publishing, or sending them. Do not upload confidential employer information, identity documents, financial account details, government identifiers, or other sensitive data unless it is genuinely necessary and you are authorized to do so.
4. AI-assisted and automated features
MySuperResume may use automated or AI-assisted features to suggest wording, analyze job descriptions, identify possible gaps, generate drafts, or prepare practice questions. These features can make mistakes, omit context, or produce inaccurate, unsuitable, or similar content for different users.
- Review, edit, and verify every suggestion before using it.
- Do not present invented qualifications, duties, results, education, or credentials as true.
- Do not rely on the service for legal, financial, immigration, recruitment, or professional advice.
- You remain responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and appropriateness of your final application materials.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use MySuperResume to:
- break the law, infringe rights, deceive employers, impersonate another person, or facilitate fraud;
- upload malware or harmful code, probe or bypass security, disrupt the service, or gain unauthorized access;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract the service or its content through automated means except as expressly permitted by us or by applicable law;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service from protected parts of MySuperResume except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use the service to generate spam, abusive, discriminatory, defamatory, or unlawful content;
- place an unreasonable load on our systems or circumvent usage, feature, payment, or access limits; or
- upload another person’s personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate permission.
6. Free features, one-time payments, and Stripe
Some features may be free and others may require a one-time payment. MySuperResume does not use subscriptions or automatic renewals. The price, currency, included features, and applicable taxes are shown before you confirm a purchase. You authorize us and Stripe, our payment provider, to charge the payment method you select once for the amount disclosed at checkout.
- There are no recurring charges. Another charge occurs only if you actively make another separate purchase.
- A one-time purchase provides the paid access or features described at checkout at the time of purchase.
- One-time payments are non-refundable except where the checkout terms, a stated refund policy, or applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
- You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we are legally required to collect them.
- We may withhold or remove paid access if a payment fails, is reversed, refunded, disputed, or obtained fraudulently.
Stripe processes payment and device information for transaction processing, authentication, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Stripe’s handling of personal data is explained in its Privacy Policy.
7. Account deletion and termination
Delete your account
Sign in and go to Account → Delete account. After you confirm, your account and all associated user-created data are permanently deleted, including stored resumes, CVs, cover letters, job descriptions, and interview-preparation content. This action cannot be undone.
Account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund and does not remove limited records we must retain for payment, tax, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations. Backup deletion and provider retention are described in our Privacy Policy.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the service. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may act immediately when necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties, or to comply with law.
8. Our content and intellectual property
MySuperResume and its software, branding, interface, templates, designs, text, graphics, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these terms, we give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service and create application documents for your own lawful personal or internal business use.
Your use of a template does not transfer ownership of the underlying template or software. You may use and distribute the completed documents you create for job-search and professional purposes.
9. Service providers and third-party services
We use third parties to operate MySuperResume, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Hetzner for infrastructure and hosting, Stripe for payments, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for analytics and product improvement. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Our use of these providers and the data they process is described in our Privacy Policy.
MySuperResume may link to job boards, employer websites, social networks, or other third-party services. We do not control or endorse third-party content, availability, security, or practices, and your use of those services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep MySuperResume available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access. We may maintain, update, add, remove, limit, or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects a paid service, unless urgent security, legal, or technical circumstances make advance notice impractical.
Keep copies of important documents you need. We are not a permanent archival or backup service.
11. No employment guarantee
MySuperResume helps you prepare application materials; it is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or employment adviser. We do not guarantee that documents will pass an applicant-tracking system, match a job description, be accepted by an employer, produce interviews or offers, or improve employment outcomes. Hiring decisions are made by third parties outside our control.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MySuperResume is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the independent developer behind MySuperResume and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, goodwill, or employment outcomes arising from or related to the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to MySuperResume during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer protections.
14. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the independent developer behind MySuperResume, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings available under the law of your country of residence.
Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in these terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a regulator, consumer-protection body, or court where applicable law permits.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security requirements, or our business. We will post the revised terms here and update the date above. If a material change affects existing users, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
16. General terms and contact
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our consent; we may assign these terms if ownership or operation of the service is transferred. These terms and the referenced policies form the entire agreement between you and us about MySuperResume.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@resumegencv.com. You can also contact the same independent developer through ResumeGenCV on X or ResumeGenCV on LinkedIn.
